Kenisha Moore, LMSW, Psychotherapist

Psychotherapist

Adults & Adolescents

Supervisor: Lucy Goldstein, LCSW

Telehealth Only

Life can bring a myriad of obstacles, and it’s natural to feel overwhelmed at times. Together, we’ll identify the barriers that may be holding you back and develop strategies to overcome them. My goal is to empower you to build resilience and cultivate a deeper understanding of yourself. I also recognize that life’s challenges can often lead us to avoid or run from certain emotions or experiences. In our work together, we’ll not only focus on your goals but also confront the aspects of yourself that you may find difficult to face. By exploring these areas, you’ll gain valuable insights that can lead to profound personal growth.

In our work together, I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities—including mindfulness-based strategies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT). Each of these approaches offers valuable tools to help you delve into the areas of your life that you want to address.

I aim to provide a space where you can express yourself openly and explore your feelings without fear of judgment. This space fosters trust and encourages you to delve deeper into your experiences. In our sessions, you’ll find a compassionate partner who is committed to walking alongside you on your journey of self-discovery.

Kenisha Moore, LMSW is a graduate of Hunter College Silberman School of Social Work, a Masters of Psychology from Long Island University of Brooklyn, and has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Howard University.
