I have always been captivated by the intricacy of human experience, our relationships, and the duality of joy and pain. I am guided by my deep interest in the motivations that shape human behavior and the belief that we are all capable of healing and transformation.
As a therapist, I have the unique privilege of walking alongside you as you navigate the often winding path towards healing. My personal practice is rooted in a trauma-informed and psychodynamic approach, interwoven with the grounding tools of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strength based and motivational interviewing techniques, attachment and family systems theory, and mindfulness exercises.
My background is rooted in trauma therapy and I have extensive experience working with children, teens, adults, and families struggling with depression, self-esteem issues, anxiety, suicidal ideation, PTSD, sexual abuse, domestic violence, dissociation, and social phobias.
At the heart of my work is the belief that our earliest experiences, especially those marked by unresolved generational trauma, disruptive family dynamics, disconnection, or neglect, leave lasting imprints on how we come to know ourselves, relate to others, and navigate a world often imbued with chaos. These imprints, sometimes blurred and long buried, shape our sense of worth, behavioral patterns which can feel fixed and immovable, and the stories we tell ourselves in silence. These experiences don’t simply disappear; but often live on in how we think, feel, and react, either consciously or unconsciously.
Together we will become partners in a deeply collaborative and creative exchange that honors the complexity of your story. I can promise a safe space for you to explore what has been broken or bent and what has been forgotten or silenced along the way. I strive to create a space where your struggles are not pathologized, but welcomed, where your emotion is not stifled but invited in, and look forward to embarking on the path towards what you hope to discover, change, or heal.
