There’s a well-known teaching that seamlessly applies to the therapeutic journey: a person trapped in a pit cannot climb out on their own—they need someone standing outside to reach in and pull them up. That idea shapes how I approach therapy - I believe you already hold the expertise on your own life; my role isn’t to hand you answers but to walk alongside you as you find them and gradually implement them to your life. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, which means our sessions are shaped around your goals, your pace, and what actually feels true for you. From our very first meeting, I focus on building real rapport, because trust is the foundation everything else grows from.
I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship dynamics, life transitions, anxiety, depression, and family cycles/patterns. I’ve had the privilege of sitting with people through trying times and supporting their resolve to grow and heal. What I’ve learned, again and again, is that people don’t need to be fixed; they need space, structure, support, and someone willing to stay present while they do the harder work of change.
