As a therapist, I strive for you, as my client, to feel like the space is their own. I use that space as a starting point for you to build a sense of agency within your life, so that you can feel both aware and in control of your choices and create your own conditions to thrive.
I will take care to understand your unique life as well as your broader social context, and work with you to find solutions that feel realistic and manageable.
My clinical interests include issues self esteem, identity, sexuality, anxiety, and relationship challenges. I have worked with clients experiencing a wide variety of challenges, particularly around social skills and relationships, and I have worked a great deal with performing artists. My approach is integrative; incorporating aspects of psychodynamic theory, DBT skills, choice theory.
